I ordered shoes from this store and they came with a security tag attached to them. I shipped them back and got them for a second time with the security tag attached to the shoes again. This is not okay at all! I tried calling customer service and they have me waiting for more than an hr. I'm so disappointed. I want a refund ASAP especially with COVID-19 and Mother's Day coming I can't afford to get robbed. Plus not to mention this shoes were to use when I got back to work. Shame on you.
I had never heard of Belk until a week before placing my first order on May 3,2020. It is now May 16. My order still shows 'pending' on the website, even though on the first page it shows 'complete.' I never received confirmation of my order even though the money immediately came out of my account. I sent three messages via the website and no one has responded. I tried calling twice but each time the hold would have been over an hour. After holding for 40 minutes the second time I hung up. Now I have to go to my bank and dispute the charge. How is this company allowed to continue?

I ordered a Lancome $200+ face cream online for instore pickup. Upon inspecting my purchase I found that the product was not in a sealed box. No guarantee that this cream had not been opened or sampled before being bagged for my order. Had to return item and replace it with a sealed box face cream. You need better customer service personnel filling these orders. My experience has made me very conscious of your sales practices. I will continue to order, but, I will ALWAYS inspect the packaging in the future.
FYI:
The Kim Rogers line of clothing, which I came to rely on for sizing consistency, NO LONGER produces items you can depend on for that. I ordered several t-shirts the same size. I had to return more than half my order for poor manufacturing (sleeves too tight, not enough give in the bust area, colors different than pictured online). This USED TO BE my go to brand. Not any more.
I placed an order on 2/4/21, till now, I received nothing. Customer service refused to do anything about it, not even checking with the delivery company. Do not buy from Belk unless you want to find troubles!
Belk stores (in my area) seem to be taking over other closed department stores in their former locations. Well at least the stores are not empty. We see so many retailers go out of the retail business and close stores which makes it hard for all the smaller stores. Belk seems to do a good job filling that void and staying open during these tough times.
Today My father and myself went into Belks to purchase my Brother a birthday gift. We were shopping at cologne counter and purchased a very expensive bottle of Channel and an I touch watch... The two girls at the counter were so unprofessional and both had poor attitudes... instead of helping me and my father... We had to sit and listen to them complain about thier co-workers... They could care less about helping us. We spent several hundred dollars as well... For some reason Russellville Arkansas Store is the worst. I even asked one of them how long The MK purses would stay on sale. She replied "um I don't really know" And never bothered to find out for me... Lazy Lazy Lazy girl. I will drive 45 miles to next Belks to NOT! Go through this again. Shame on you Russellville Store for employing such people... Sherri Vos
Corbin KY. The men’s department is lacking tremendously at this site. Came in on 3/11/2021 and not only were the clothing choices lacking—the department looked like a cheaper version of an outlet shop. I suppose I will need to get my duds from Dillard’s in Lexington from now on.

Judy was our sales associate. She was very friendly, helpful and persistent in getting our credit card payment to go thru for us. We had some fraud charges in the past and had been issued new cards that we had not yet activated. Judy helped us with that unfortunate issue. Again, Judy was a valuable asset to her position at Belk in Murfreesboro,TN Store 380

Belk charges late fees to their customers. Even if they mail their payment 11 days before it's due date. Has anyone else had this problem with payment?
I was trying to return two unopened boxes. I called and kept getting forwarded or placed in hold for phone to hang up. I them texted and when I told agent what it was pertaining to (a return) she left me on hold until time expired. I will NEVER order from BELK on line again. Please read reviews before ordering. DO NOT ORDER ON LINE. ITS LIKE BUYING A LEMON CAR. BUYER BEWARE.
I ordered boots on January 7and was told it would be delivered by the 14 of January
Customer service have no record where my boots are so I tracked it by federal express amend they are trying to locate the boots I have bank receipts of the charge and trying to communicate is crazy I will never shop belk again!
I've been a belk customer for over 30 years and have always been happy with the quality of service, my purchases and tbeir prices. I've never had a issue with any item that I needed to return, however can't say I've had many. Its a great place to shop.

Wouldn't even give one star... I made an order last Saturday, got a confirmation email that same day. On Monday, I get an email saying they've CANCELLED my order- no explanation given. I sent an email to ask why, and as of today (Thursday) absolutely no response. NOT GOOD! Especially going into the holiday season when people will be buying gifts for family and friends. To just have your order cancelled a couple of days after you make the order seems pretty unacceptable. And then to give no reason- really unacceptable. Their canned cancellation email said something like- ‘So sorry! And don't worry, your card won't be charged. Hopefully you'll give us another chance!' But NO, I certainly won't. And yeah, mentioning that they won't charge me for the order I won't be getting? How very gracious of them. There are many other retailers who actually value their customers, so I'll make it a point to buy from them instead. If you're looking to get gifts for the holidays, I'd think twice about ordering from belk.com. Who knows- if they cancelled my order, then your orders could be cancelled with no explanation also.
